The Rathenauhallen are the vision of a famous Berlin engineer, named Emil Rathenau. Having seen the lightbulbs of Thomas Edison at the Electricity Fair in Paris, he secured the rights and introduced the bulbs to Germany, which proved to be a great success! 

In order to use the modern lights, people needed electricity which Emil delivered. He founded Berlin's first Startup, the AEG, right here, in these halls and grew it to world-wide success. 

The former transformer factory started as the birthplace of electricity for Berlin. Today, these halls continue to be a hub for progress, as home to large scale events, like yours.

The Spreehalle Berlin, constructed around 1910 and designed by Peter Behrens and Ernst Ziesel, is a charming sand-colored clinker building. Its ground floor has been beautifully modernized by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Bryan Adams, earning the Otto-Borst Prize for Urban Renewal in 2018.

With a spacious 210-square-meter area and a 7-meter-high ceiling, the hall is ideal for smaller conferences, workshops, film and photo productions, or concerts. It features natural light from ceiling windows and north and south-facing windows, all of which can be darkened if needed, along with storage areas that can be separated by curtains.

The Spreehalle includes a small outdoor area and an adjoining kitchen. The venue is heated and offers extensive technical facilities, including power, high voltage power, and Wi-Fi.

The venue is particularly suitable for organizers and organizations looking for the perfect context for topics around sustainability.

Several rooms are available. Additionally, GUT At Airport 1 has media technology, its own catering company BRLO Brewhouse, and various furniture settings.
